Dr. Rayeann Solano

Dr. Solano is the lead veterinarian and medical director of the Western Arizona Humane Society. She is passionate about the care of shelter animals, and advocates for the importance of preventive health for pets. Rayeann is active in her community and you’ll often find her hanging out with her 14-year-old corgi, Copper.

Gretchen has worked for more than 12 years as a veterinary assistant in private practices and shelter medicine clinics. She is the doting pet parent of a beloved brood of furry family members including four felines and one dog who (not surprisingly) thinks he’s a cat!
